Pinellia ternata

The threefold Pinellia (Pinellia ternata, syn. Arum ternatum Thunb., Tubifera Pinellia Ten.) Is a species of the genus Pinellia (Pinellia) in the family of aroids (Araceae).

Use
The threefold Pinelli is rarely used as an ornamental plant in perennial beds on ways and is considered a plant lover.

Although the raw tuber is poisonous, it serves as food. The poison is destroyed by thorough cooking and drying. To obtain the tubers this kind in the country is grown.

Medical effects are known. For this species in China is grown. Chinese name for the drug Ban Xia.
