The Wooly Thistle Plant

The woolly thistle (Cirsium Eriophorum) is a biennial plant that belongs to the composite family (Compositae or Asteraceae). The species is on the Dutch Red List of plants as very rare and stable or increased. The plant occurs naturally from northern England to the Balkans and the Apennines and the Pyrenees.
